Ellen DeGeneres went through a lot this year. Her experience could be considered as one of the worse as she almost lost her career, instantly.
Ellen DeGeneres was embroiled in serious allegations of being mean to her staff and many other people came forward to air their unpleasant encounters too. This led many people to believe that “The Ellen Show” is really a different person behind the camera. Contrary to her good persona on TV, she was even called a “monster.”
Ellen turned to Portia to vent her anger?
The accusations affected Ellen’s long-running TV program. While “The Ellen Show” was still able to come back for its season 18, it was reported that its viewership ratings continue to decline. Many viewers have abandoned the show and this allegedly frustrated Ellen DeGeneres.
As a result, New Idea reported that the talk show host vented her anger to her wife Portia De Rossi. This is why their marriage has been strained in the last couple of months. It was added that the former model is suffering at home as she was being bullied by Ellen after losing lots of viewers.
“Ellen is panicking big time,” the source supposedly told the magazine. “She’s used to her show being top of the pile so this is a whole new world for her.”
The insider went on to divulge, “She's anxious and completely on the edge. Poor Portia is bearing the brunt of it."
The magazine then narrated a story that supposedly will prove its claim. New Idea wrote that one time, Portia was driving Ellen home after a meeting when suddenly the host "turned into a nightmare back-seat driver, urging her to drive faster.” Portia De Rossi was forced to pull over and told her wife that she will call an Uber if she will not get off her back.
The truth
Gossip Cop determined that this report is false. In truth, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia have become closer as the latter stood by her wife in the midst of the trying time. Portia did not leave Ellen but supported her throughout and the host appreciated this very much.
Ellen and Portia are not fighting and there is no bullying at home as well! This is a bogus claim that has no solid evidence to back up the allegation.
