After being accused of being mean and tolerating a toxic workplace, she was able to return to her “The Ellen Show,” however, not everyone was ready to accept her again so the ratings of the talk show dipped.
Ellen’s bad year in 2020
Ellen DeGeneres also has many rumors involving her relationship with Portia De Rossi. People were saying that she is also maltreating her wife and the former model could be experiencing mental breakdown already.
Aside from this, her year will end while she is battling COVID-19 as she was recently diagnosed with the virus. With all the issues and troubling rumors, it was reported that Ellen DeGeneres is planning to renew her vows with Portia De Rossi to prove she loves her wife above all else and she has not hurt her in any way.
Based on the report from OK! Magazine, Ellen DeGeneres wants to forget and put away her struggles and troubles this year. She also would like to mend her marriage to Portia so she’s planning their renewal of vows.
“Ellen wants to prove to Portia that she really does come first, not her career,” the source supposedly told the tabloid. “Portia felt underappreciated while DeGeneres got her show back on track.”
The tipster went on to say, “Ellen sat Portia down for a heart-heart and suggested they repledge their love by renewing their vows.” Portia was said to have agreed to the renewal of vows and they are now planning together. This time, it will be a wedding by the beach.
The truth
Gossip Cop wrote that this is a completely false report. In the first place, the source’s claim to have knowledge that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi had a heart-to-heart talk was impossible. The two are very private when it comes to their relationship so it is unlikely that this “source” was able to know something really intimate about the couple.
Also, Ellen and Portia did not have a tough year when it comes to their union. Even this year, when DeGeneres was severely bashed, Portia remained by her wife’s side and supported her all the way. In fact, when the host went back to work for the 18th season of her talk show, Portia was the happiest person thus the renewal of vows is also not true.
