Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi divorce rumors have been a favorite of the tabloid media scum despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Only fueling the rumors is the recent development where the couple is selling off a property that was only purchased six months prior. If unreliable outlets are to be believed, the reason for the sale is because the couple wants to split the amount they spent.
A Beverly Hills estate that the Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi couple purchased back in September is now on the market for $17.995 million, Seattle Times reports. The home was supposedly bought at $15 million, so that’s a $2.995 million profit for the pair. As for why the couple suddenly decided to sell it off, a reason was not provided. Frankly, a reason is not actually necessary since this is their business.
However, this is not enough for the multitude of tabloid media outlets out there banking on Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi divorce stories to keep drawing in attention. As a result, this development is being used as a means of supposedly supporting the reports coming out about the separation. The fact of the matter is, though, that there is simply no divorce going on.
The reasons for the separations with regards to the Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi couple have ranged from jealousy to frustration at the talk show host not spending enough time with her spouse. These persistent stories have been hounding the two for several months now despite how many times they are debunked.
This latest real estate development is only going to fuel those Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi divorce rumors even more. It isn’t right, but when has morality ever been good enough for the tabloid outlets in the market? Or for that matter for the readers who eagerly devour their contents?
