The recent episode of the hit TV series ‘Elementary’ was mind blowing as always. It was greatly received by its fans and followers especially with the episode’s story. So if you haven’t watched it, then you better catch up. Otherwise, here is a review about episode 15 titled “Up to Heaven and Down to Hell”.
Judging from the episode’s title, it was playfully made in accordance to the story that was tackled.
A parking dispute took place where another driver steals a parking spot, after doing so the guy gets out of his car and heads over to a sidewalk pay station while the man who was going to park in that spot angrily walks back to his car. Then, in the background, a woman falls from the top of the building and lands on the man paying for parking, killing both of them. Karma really is fast, isn’t it?
It was discovered that the woman, named Roslyn, was suffering from arthritis and had reportedly been exhibiting signs of dementia as well. But what made things shady is the ottoman that was seen in the balcony of the old woman. This suggests that she may have committed suicide but Sherlock posits that there’s no way she could have moved the ottoman on her own, which means that maybe somebody threw her off the roof.
Sherlock being the good detective that he is, discovers blood on the bottom of the ottoman and realizes that it was recently moved while Marcus notices that the arthritis pills in the bottle aren’t actually for arthritis but for seizures and psychic disorders.
That means someone switched her pills and that the clonazepam could account for the signs of dementia. And the suspect is her son who says his mother is out of her mind putting her dog in her will and testament and not them her children.
Joan, on the other hand, discovers Gregson is dating a woman named Paige. This surely affected the budding relationship that the two have while Paige breaks up with Gregson when he tells her about the truth behind Joan.
