“Dynasty” Season 3 will be ramping up the tension in its storyline now that two bodies have been found in the estate’s lake. It’s been revealed that one of the bodies is Trixie, a friend of Fallon (Elizabeth Gilles) who disappeared in the manor years before, Digital Spy reported.

The other corpse’s identity is unconfirmed although it’s likely the hitman that Blake (Grant Snow) killed earlier in the show. While all these plotlines and other arcs are compelling enough, some fans are wondering whether or not James MacKay will be returning in “Dynasty” Season 3.

The second installment saw MacKay’s involvement with the series being diminished having been announce that he’s no longer a regular. Following the revelation, some fans are worried that he might get completely ousted in “Dynasty” Season 3.

Fortunately, head writer Paula Sabbage said that MacKay would indeed be returning for the third entry, although she didn’t disclose how much screen-time the actor is going to get. But Sabbage did say that they’re looking to dive deep into MacKay’s character, with a potential to push him towards a political path in the future. It’s still unclear if “Dynasty” Season 3 will be setting up this narrative as the fourth installment has yet to be ordered.

Meanwhile, showrunner Sallie Patrick confirmed that she’s no longer involved with the series’ future and admitted the difficulty of parting ways with the CW drama. But she did assure that “Dynasty” Season 3 is going to be another riveting entry, suggesting that she may have been privy to some of the details of the upcoming installment.

The fate of Liam (Adam Huber) is also up for debate after he got knocked out cold by Adam (Sam Underwood) following a heated altercation. Liam was last seen lying face down in a pool. As for when “Dynasty” Season 3 will be released, most of the predictions are pointing at Oct. 10, Express reported.
