The official synopsis of “Dynasty” Season 3 has been released by CW, and it provided a lot of details regarding what to expect in the coming entry. As can be expected, one of the core plotlines is centered on the growing tension between Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) and Adam (Sam Underwood), Den of Geek reported.
In “Dynasty” Season 3, Adam will be upping the ante with regards to his perceive rivalry with his own sister and create all sorts of headache for Fallon. Meanwhile, the romance between Fallon and Liam (Adam Huber) will be tested amidst problems faced by the former, some of which will come from her dark past.
Indeed, this has already been set up by the previous installment after two bodies were found in the estate’s lake. One of the corpses has been identified as Trixie, Fallon’s old friend who disappeared in the manor years prior. The other one remains unconfirmed until now, but it’s most likely the hired thug that Blake (Grant Snow) disposed of earlier in the series. And speaking of Blake, “Dynasty” Season 3 will have him entering the fray once more to reclaim the company that Fallon sold; a company that’s rightfully his.
But Blake will have his own issues to deal with as Dominique (Michael Michele), his half-sister, is also vying for the right to retake the company for herself as well. Meanwhile, James MacKay has been confirmed to return for “Dynasty” Season 3 after some fans expressed their worry that he may be cut off.
Series writer Paula Sabbage said that they’re aiming to explore MacKay’s character, which will ultimately lead to him running for office. Unfortunately, Sabbage didn’t disclose any details about this particular narrative and if “Dynasty” Season 3 will be hinting at this story moving forward. With regards to its release date, the upcoming installment will be airing on Oct. 11.
