Dunkin' is adding coconut milk to menus and launch two new drinks with coconut milk: across the US beginning April 28.
The drinks are Dunkin's Coconut Refreshers and a Coconut milk iced latte. Dunkin would also allow coconut milk to be substituted in any of its drinks.
Starbucks has used coconut milk since 2016, including in its "pink drink."
Dunkin will make the new coconut refreshers available in pink strawberry, blueberry pomegranate, and golden peach flavors. From April 28 to May 25, Dunkin' will make its medium coconut refreshers available at a discounted price of $3.
Non-dairy milk, such as oat milk, has boomed at coffee chains. Dunkin's started serving Planet Oat oat milk at some California locations in January 2020 while Starbucks followed with its oat milk launch in March 2021.
Both chains offer almond milk, and Starbucks also sells soy milk.
