“Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48 will be continuing the fight between Boo and Moro, with both of the characters’ unknown powers expected to be featured during their battle. The previous release saw that the chubby protagonist can stand toe to toe with the planet-eater as he’s immune against Moro’s energy=absorbing ability, Otakukart reported.
Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta remain sidelined at the moment as they’re still recuperating from the injuries they sustained when fighting Moro. The Galactic Patrol is also expected to remain as spectators since they aren’t strong enough to fight Moro for an extended period. In short, “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48 will have Boo fighting alone for now.
Back on Earth, it appears that Piccolo will be making preparations to travel to New Namek as it’s been portrayed he knows something is attacking his own people. Bulma might also be traveling to the distant planet as well as she wants Vegeta to come home. Amidst all of these is Moro’s desire to use the Dragon Balls to surpass the powers that he once possessed, a sobering thought given how devastating the planet-eater was during his prime. With how the plotline is shaping up, it appears that “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48 is setting up another Frieza incident.
If so, the Nameks will once again need to be relocated to another location as their homeworld is currently facing yet another catastrophic threat. This is especially true since Moro has a penchant for destroying planets to augment his powers. Hopefully, Piccolo will arrive in time to help Goku and Vegeta recover by bringing with him some Senzu Beans in “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48.
Goku already attempted to teleport himself back to earth to get some of the stuff but is currently too weak to use the ability. Regarding the release date of “Dragon Ball Super” Chapter 48, author Akira Toriyama slated its release on May 20.
