‘Dr. Stone’ episode 2 release date, spoilers: Lions attack Senku, Taiju while attempting to revive Yuzuriha

The plot that is bound to happen in “Dr. Stone” episode 2 will certainly keep fans excited about this new anime series. Viewers will witness the best friends, Senku and Taiju, work hard on perfecting the formula that will treat petrified humans.

The new anime series revolves around the quest of two best friends in saving humanity after a mysterious phenomenon has turned every human on Earth into stone. More than 3,000 years later, Taiju finds that the science-loving Senku has already been awakened and alive. The latter left a message carved on a tree where Taiju’s love interest, Yuzuriha, got petrified.

Senku may be the brains in the partnership, but he recognizes that none of his work is possible without Taiju’s help. Senku continues his experiments while Taiju helps gather all the needed supplies. This partnership continues in “Dr. Stone” episode 2, and they have one main goal: to save Yuzuriha.

Senku develops a formula composed mainly of bat droppings. They will test it on a petrified animal in “Dr. Stone” episode 2, and after proving it effective, they will proceed to save Yuzuriha. The first interruption is actually caused by Taiju who worries that his crush will be completely naked once she wakes up again.

Unfortunately, on their second attempt, they will encounter another distraction and an even more dangerous one. Just as they are about to douse Yuzuriha with the formula, a pack of vicious looking lions will appear in “Dr. Stone” episode 2, and they have to run for their lives.

Senku realizes that after thousands of years without moving humans, the lions practically went up to the top of the food chain. Unfortunately, they have to be practical given this development and will have to save someone else before Yuzuriha. They have to un-petrify someone that could beat the lions, and this is where Senku goes to Tsukasa Shishio, known as the strongest high school student.

Fans who have read the manga know that saving Tsukasa will have its major repercussions in the next episodes. “Dr. Stone” episode 2 will be released on July 12.
