“Destiny 2: Forsaken” is slated for release on Sept. 4 and the fans are losing their minds over the amount of content the developers have included in the fourth season, Game Spot reported. Among the most anticipated additions are Black Armory, Joker’s Wild, and Penumbra.
The first one will be released this year while the last two will come out next year. In “Destiny 2: Forsaken,” players will be able to acquire a lot of new weapons and armor, as well as uncover the lore that is playing behind the scenes of the game’s plotline.
For instance, Black Armor will give players an exclusive access to the equipment that is so rare; only the most skilled craftsmen of the world produced it. Meanwhile, Joker’s Wild will have players uncover the mystery surrounding a certain character and what his motivations are moving forward.
As for Penumbra, the developers are keeping their mouths shut about the upcoming content since they want to surprise fans with what the expansion includes. The developers also said that there will be a ton of things to do in “Destiny 2: Forsaken,” both for its casual fan base and hardcore players.
As such, they added a vault space for 200 items for each player as loots are going to be spawning left and right once the “Destiny 2: Forsaken” rolls around. Season 4 is being called “Season of the Outlaw” and given the trailer for the upcoming expansion, it isn’t surprising.
But what blindsided the fans about the sneak peek is the Guardian is able to speak. This is the first time that this has happened and players are hyped about this little detail. For those who pre-ordered the expansion, they can play a 24-hour trial of Gambit – the first content that will be featured in the upcoming season.
The developers said that the one thing they don’t want the game to lack is content. This is why every month, the game will roll out more and more additions in order to keep things fresh and dynamic. “Destiny 2: Forsaken” is the culmination of all the things that the developers learned when the franchise first started. And with the creators having a great history of listening to its player base, this next season will undoubtedly deliver in a big way, maybe even more than what fans are already expecting.
