MINNEAPOLIS, March 22, 2018 -- Ceridian, a global human capital management technology company, announced today that the Denver Broncos have selected Dayforce as its new human capital management (HCM) platform to drive HR efficiencies, enable compliance, and improve employee engagement.
“We chose Ceridian as a partner because they went above and beyond to understand our business and HR needs,” said Nancy Svoboda, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Denver Broncos. “We believe the Dayforce cloud platform will modernize our people processes and bring benefits to the entire organization.”
During peak season, the Denver Broncos employ approximately 1,400 salaried and part-time employees, including corporate employees, football players, cheerleaders, and guest relations staff. The organization also has intricate regulatory requirements such as multi-state taxation as the players and coaches work in numerous states during the NFL season.
The complexity of the Broncos workforce necessitated a modern HCM solution that could automate HR and payroll processes – including scheduling, time and attendance, payroll, benefits, and tax – with the goal of lessening back-office administrative burdens and reducing costs. They also sought a solution that would help with regulatory compliance and improve decision making through access to actionable insights. Ceridian’s flagship software platform, Dayforce, met all their needs.
“The team at the Denver Broncos are passionate about their people. With Dayforce, they’ll benefit from automated workforce scheduling, the introduction of mobile functionality, and improved access to data – all helping to build a strong and engaged workforce,” said Ted Malley, Chief Revenue Officer, Ceridian. “It’s an honor to announce the Denver Broncos as the latest NFL team to choose Ceridian as its human capital management partner.”
