Dakota Johnson recently broke up with her boyfriend, Chris Martin and it appears that the latter has moved on already. News of the split is still fresh, but various media outlets are already reporting about the singer finding his new love, so this is a sad day for the actress.
Dakota’s heartbreak
Jamie Dornan’s “Fifty Shades” co-star was last seen with her boyfriend late last year, but the breakup reports only came around last month. While there is no direct confirmation from both camps, witnesses stated that the split is real and in fact, Martin was recently spotted kissing Dua Lipa at Glastonbury Music Fest. However, the Coldplay frontman denied that he locked lips with the English singer and songwriter.
“Contrary to reports in some press today, we would like to confirm that Chris Martin and Dua Lipa did not kiss at Glastonbury and are just friends,” Dakota’s ex’s spokesman told The Daily Mail. “They were both in the same area of the festival with a larger group of friends.”
Martin also refuted the rumors that he and Dua Lipa were inseparable. He denied that the songstress also introduced him to her family. It was learned that before his split from Dakota Johnson, he was already planning to propose, but things got rough between them, so all the plans were shattered.
Jamie sets his focus on work
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have no current work together, but surely, he feels bad for her. They have yet to reunite, and this is what their fans want as well, but it may take a while before this happens as they are both involved in different projects these days.
The actor was just confirmed to be part of the comedy film called the “Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar,” and he will act alongside Kristen Wiig. Dakota’s former leading man is the villain in this movie, and he is also a spy. This was scheduled for release in June 2020.
Aside from this, Jamie Dornan also finished shooting the sci-fi film titled “Synchronic,” and there is another untitled movie lined up for him. On the other hand, Dakota Johnson will be seen in “The Peanut Butter Falcon” that will arrive in cinemas this August.
