There is a good news for the fans of the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit, the show will return in early 2019. When they do, they are met with a puzzling case in “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 11 where a kidnapping suspect is likely linked to a prior double homicide.

As of this writing, the show is already on its first week hiatus. But teasers for “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 11 have arrived revealing what the team of profilers will be working on in their first 2019 case.

The BAU will be called in to help local law enforcement in Portland, Oregon for an abduction case. The “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 11 synopsis did not say if the kidnapping victim is still alive. But it was hinted that the unsub they are looking for could also be responsible for an earlier murder.

“Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 11 teasers say the unsub has possibly murdered a couple before the “chilling abduction.” In one of the sneak peek photos, Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) is seen analyzing the case files showing that the victims are composed of at least three couples.

One of the couples is already dead in the photos with duct tape around their head and visibly beaten faces. The remaining victims appear to be alive or still considered missing persons. But knowing how things go in this show, the BAU could later find more dead bodies as their investigation roll in “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 11.

CarterMatt pointed out that the “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 11 synopsis did not single out a particular character as the focus of the next installment. In every episode, this season, at least one character is chosen to be the center of the story by bringing back similar cases they worked on years ago or undisclosed details from their past affecting their present work.

Meanwhile, CBS did not order more episodes which means there are only four episodes remaining after the airing of “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 11 on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 10 p.m. ET. This was a major downgrade compared to the previous 13 seasons of the show which had 20 up to 26 episodes each. So fans are understandably concerned whether or not the series will be renewed for season 15.
