HOUSTON, Aug. 31, 2017 -- Top-ranking Houston IT services provider Computex Technology Solutions has been working around the clock to provide uninterrupted support to its customers throughout Hurricane Harvey turned tropical storm. "We designed the data center knowing that these hard hitting storms happen – we've gone through it before and understand the damage they cause," said Faisal Bhutto, Vice President of Enterprise Networking, Cloud, and Cybersecurity for Computex Technology Solutions.

“My number one concern is making sure our employees, our customers, their families and the greater Houston community are safe and supported now and over the next weeks and months, as the fallout from this event is yet to be realized,” said Frank Vitagliano, President and CEO of Computex Technology Solutions.
With a failover data center in Minneapolis, MN, Computex can shift all services to that location to be sure their customers feel no interruption and their services won’t be impacted. “If any Houston based customers have lost power inside their own facilities during the storm or the days and weeks following, Computex doors will be open for them to walk in, plug in, and work,” Bhutto said. During Hurricane Ike in 2008, Computex customers brought their work to Computex's data center. "We hosted over 250 people in our facilities that came in and worked out of our offices for weeks," he said.
“Our doors will be open to support in any way feasible during this catastrophic event,” Vitagliano iterated.
