‘Classroom of the Elite’ season 2: Series renewal is still unknown; Is Lerche studios still interested to produce a second installment?

There is no update yet about the renewal of “Classroom of the Elite” season 2, but fans are still waiting because many have hopes that it will return. Apparently, three years of waiting did not deter them from looking forward to the next episodes.

For continuing to hold on to the belief that “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 will happen soon, many fans explained that since the first season did not really end with something that can be called a “conclusion,” there is surely a continuation. There are still a lot of scenarios to explain, and they said Lerche Studios would not leave them hanging.

The cancellation

Although they firmly believed that the “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 would be back in no time, there are others who fear that the studio really stopped at the end of the first installment. It is getting more convincing that it may have ended in 2017 as Lerche Studio is still not saying anything about the anime.

The studio could have at least issue a statement or release a notice if they have canceled “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 so they will not wait anymore. But still, the producers are still silent until now.

Is the anime on hiatus or there’s no chance of returning?

TV Season & Spoilers previously stated that “Classroom of the Elite” did so well when it was launched and this means that the producers profited well with it. If that is the case, then they will not give up on this series and will continue to create more seasons as long as it still has followers and earning well. Thus, it is likely that it is only on hiatus.

It is also possible that the production team is still waiting for the go signal to do “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 and it turned out that the waiting is taking longer. Perhaps, they have reasons for the delay.

Meanwhile, when “Classroom of the Elite” season 2 returns, it will cover the next volumes of the original manga series where it was based from. It is estimated that the source materials can still produce at least two or three more seasons.
