Samsung Electronics Co. will supply 1,300 displays at New York Mets’ home stadium Citi Field after being selected as its official sponsor.
Among the displays that Samsung will provide is its high-resolution 4K LED screen measuring 372 square meters that will be used as the main centerfield scoreboard.
Samsung will also supply the Major League Baseball (MLB) team’s stadium with technology solutions controlling a variety of multimedia content
Citi Field Stadium will introduce MLB’s first internet protocol television (IPTV) system, simultaneously broadcasting over 100 sports and entertainment channels that would allow spectators to watch the game from various angles.
