Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson are possibly the two most remarkable winners in the history of “American Idol.” But this also resulted in them being constantly pitted against each other.

Just recently, Clarkson hilariously shutdown another feud rumor between her and Underwood. The “The Voice” coach recently shared a photo of a tabloid magazine called Star where their photos are front and center along with the headline, “Carrie & Kelly: Secret Feud Explodes!”

The preview to the article suggested that Underwood and Clarkson have been backstabbing one another to their common friends. Star also seemingly suggests they know how their feud “started” and a quote, presumably, from an anonymous source saying, “Carrie doesn’t know who she’s messing with.”

Clarkson learned about the tabloid cover when someone sent her its photo that she then shared to her over 12.3 million followers on Twitter. She does not seem bothered about the alleged feud with Underwood. Instead, she complained about why the publication chose that certain photo of hers.

“I’m like why does she get the good pic & I have the worst expression I’ve ever made w/ zero muscles being used in my face,” Underwood’s long-time friend wrote. “I officially have a feud w/ whoever used this pic! At least give me a good pic if y’all are gonna be lying is all I’m sayin’.” Meanwhile, this is not the first time Underwood and Clarkson have been rumored to be fighting or having a silent rivalry since their “American Idol” stint.

About a year ago, Underwood and Clarkson’s supposed rivalry was brought up by the Twitter page @TheTyIt after it launched a poll asking who is the most iconic “American Idol” winner between these women. Some of the fans replying already called out the idea of pitting them against each other and got a nod of approval from Clarkson after she echoed their sentiment.

The “American Idol” season 1 winner responded to The TyIt, “I think we're both winning in life and pretty blessed! Singers, mamas, CEOs.” Underwood, who won the singing contest’s season 4, shared the said post and told Clarkson she voted for her. “But seriously, I do wish more publications would just celebrate women’s success without pitting them against each other,” Underwood concluded.
