Who would have thought that posing a certain way would create stir up a storm on social media? Well, Camila Cabello probably didn’t know what was about to happen when she shared a photo of herself with a hand on her stomach, but soon her Instagram post was flooded with questions asking her if she was pregnant. The “you’re still the only thing I did right” caption didn’t help matters either as many speculated that she must be talking about a baby.
Camila has already shut down the pregnancy rumor by saying that she has just been enjoying her food while she toured the U.S., but that didn’t stop her fans from asking more questions. Some even criticized her for sharing a photo that would confuse her fan base. “It’s about the pose and the comment she made. She can be upset all she wants, it’s her fault people are asking,” one fan said.
But others have come to her defense as they advised their fellow fans not to jump to conclusions. “She's already said she isn't. Her standing a certain way and reading too much into a caption that has no context to jump to some insane conclusion is stupid. She looks perfectly fine. She looks happy and healthy, enjoying life and food,” a fan stated. “Why can’t a person just touch there stomach without being called pregnant?” another one added.
This is a stressful time for the "Havana" singer. But at the moment, Camila Cabello is going to have to learn to deal with this, and perhaps she will be more careful about what she posts online next time.
Camila Cabello’s romance with British dating coach Matthew Hussey became public knowledge earlier this year when they were spotted having a vacation together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The two have confirmed their relationship since then.
