FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region, an inward investment agency of the FrankfurtRheinMain region, is sponsoring a Fintech seminar and Brexit conference on June 26.
According to the official release, the FinTech seminar and networking breakfast will be held at Rise New York and a Brexit conference and reception at the Beekman Hotel in the late afternoon.
It is expected to be attended by a delegation of business leaders and senior policy-makers from the Greater Frankfurt Region, led by the Mayors of Frankfurt and Offenbach.
The FinTech Talk will focus on familiarizing the attendees with the FrankfurtRheinMain region and its FinTech ecosystem. Speakers include Frank Scheidig, Global Head of Senior Executive Banking, DZ Bank AG; Jacques Dahan, Vice President Europe, Coinsource; Ram Shoham, Founder, Accelerator Frankfurt; Dr. Sebastian Schaefer, Managing Director, TechQuartier, the Startup Hub of the Metropolregion FrankfurtRheinMain; Folke Muehlhoelzer, State Premier's Commissioner, Financial Center Frankfurt; and Eric Menges, President & CEO, FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH International Marketing of the Region.
The Brexit Summit will discuss the opportunities and challenges Brexit presents for the US and Europe, the benefits of locating a business in Germany and how companies can successfully enter EU markets from FrankfurtRheinMain. Speakers include Frank Scheidig; Dr. Mark C. Hilgard, Director & Chair, Regional Chapter Rhein-Main AmCham; Folke Muehlhoelzer; and Eric Menges.
