Burger King Brasil has come up with a new way of taking orders and customers will surely have fun too, especially those who are active on TikTok. The ByteDance-owned video-focused social networking service is known for its dance and humorous video clips and the burger joint is using its Duet feature to collect orders.
To tell the people about its new ordering option, GKPB reported that Burger King Brasil released a short film via its official YouTube channel titled “Dueto BK Delivery.” The clip shows customers how they can place their orders using TikTok’s Duet.
Based on the instruction, customers who would like to order from any Burger King Brasil restaurant outlets via TikTok can follow two simple steps. The first is to follow the brand’s TikTok account and record the Duet they created by answering a question from the BK attendant who is always ready to take orders.
The hashtag #DuetoBK must also be added to the video and Burger King Brasil’s delivery will immediately contact the customer. As part of the promotion for the new delivery method, the burger brand is also rewarding the first 100 users of the Deuto BK Delivery option on TikTok by giving them R$15 discount on their purchase.
“Our 'BK your way' brand positioning allows us to always be connected to current issues and trends. TikTok is one of these trends and with this activation, we found a way to surprise our customers in a space they love, reinforcing our own delivery service in a bold and disruptive way, reinforcing our brand essence,” BK Brasil’s marketing director and master franchisee of the Burger King and Popeyes in Brazil, Juliana Cury, stated.
She went on to explain, “We want to deliver a creative dynamic that offers real benefits to our consumers and this will only be possible thanks to the total integration between our marketing, sales and technological areas.”

The novelty way of placing an order at Burger King Brasil is not a permanent option and will be available for a limited time. Meanwhile, Money Times mentioned that this is not the first time that the fast-food giant has used TikTok for its promotion. In September 2021, it launched two new burgers - the Whopper Furioso and Chipotle and Jalapeño via the platform and trended the #Furiosochallenge hashtag.
