With the world being as crazy as it currently is, the thought of a Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie secret meeting doesn’t seem so far-fetched. The estranged couple is currently going through a divorce, and recent reports claim that a hushed discussion took place to talk about a potential truce. Unfortunately, no such Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie meeting ever happened, and the tension remains as high as it has been.
This false report comes courtesy of ET Online, which recently published an article with the headline, “Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Have a 'Secret Meeting,' Call a Truce Two Years After Split (Exclusive).” The report claimed that the secret Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie meet-up took place at the request of the original “Tomb Raider” actress. This information supposedly came via a source close to the star.
"Brad and Angelina actually set up a secret meeting at her house," the supposed source reportedly said. "It’s the first time they have truly gotten together to make things work since their group therapy with the children. Brad and Angie’s meeting was a success. They are going to stay with the plan set forth through the courts."
Gossip Cop was quick to jump on this claim, however, and reports that no such meeting took place. The publication, which is notorious for debunking questionable claims, points out numerous issues with the report. Everything from the lack of a specific date to the inconsistencies in phraseology was cited, not to mention the unnamed source. Suffice it to say; this is just another Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie garbage gossip.
Furthermore, Gossip Cop actually reached out to the parties that were covered in the report, and all of them had denied that such a meeting ever took place. As such, the Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie situation remains as tense as it has ever been.
