“Boruto” Episode 107 will be continuing on the mundane mission of Guy, Mirai, and Kakashi. The previous release saw the chunin getting pumped up for what was supposed to be a mission higher than S- Rank.
But as it turns out, the trip is nothing more than a vacation for Guy and Kakashi, something that disheartened the young Sarutobi. While “Boruto” Episode 107 is not expected to provide tension and heavy fight scenes, it does bring up one important question: is Hidan still alive?
This is quite significant since Hidan was the one who killed Mirai’s father. The trailer of “Boruto” Episode 107 already hinted that Hidan might be part of its narrative, although to what extent is still a point of contention. Nevertheless, this path is worth exploring since Hidan holds a lot of secrets regarding his forbidden technique and its ability to grant users immortality.
It can be recalled that before Shikamaru killed the blood-thirsty assassin, he promised that he will never truly die. And even if his body is all but destroyed and he’s left with nothing but his head, he said he’ll find a way out of the whole bite Shikamaru’s throat out. Regarding the other plot of “Boruto” Episode 107, it appears that Kiba will be joining the trio in the story as well.
The trailer also revealed that the upcoming release will have the denizens of the Land of Steam do a mock battle in accordance with their festival that are celebrating cats and dogs. They will be divided into two factions and will wear masks with respects to the household pet that they’ve associated themselves with. It appears that Kiba will be spearheading the canine faction, while his girlfriend will helm the feline group. As for the release date of “Boruto” Episode 107, it’s been slated to drop on May 19.
