The plot of “Boruto” Episode 102 has been leaked and it confirms that it will be the penultimate release for the Jugo mini-arc. The effort to rescue the self-imposed outcast has now boiled over with the endeavor split three ways.
First, the obvious. Now that Tosaka has been revealed as a villain – to the surprise of no one – he’ll be divulging his plans in “Boruto” Episode 102, as bad guys are wont to do. It turns out that the researcher wants to weaponized Jugo and the Cursed Seal that has plagued the character all his life.
To achieve this, Tosaka injects Jugo with a special drug that transforms him into the murderous rage-filled monster that can’t be controlled. Meanwhile, “Boruto” Episode 102 will have Sarada and Karin go against Sasami – one of the green-haired twins.
The spoiler reveals that the duo will have difficulty in fighting against Sasami on account that she can fully control the power of the Cursed Seal at will. As for Momo – the other twin – he’s set to take care of Team 15 in “Boruto” Episode 102. While the trio is no match for the antagonist, it’s expected that Momo will be fighting Nue instead.
It’s still unclear how well Nue matches up with Momo and it would be interesting to see how author Ukyo Kodachi bumps the summon’s power level. And while all of these takes place, the birds that have been affected by the Cursed Mark are set to migrate. “Boruto” Episode 102 will be setting everything up for the finale of the finale series.
Would Jugo finally be able to track down and cure all of the birds? Or will this kick-start another arc in the future? That remains to be seen. And speaking of future arc, the ending of the current plot will be transitioning to yet another Mitsuku storyline, highlighting yet again the clone’s degenerating body. As for the release date of “Boruto” Episode 102, it’s been slated for release on April 14.
