Scans of “Boruto” Chapter 28 are already out and it looks like Koji Kashin is about to cause some trouble in the Hidden Leaf Village as he continues to look for Kawaki in “Boruto” Chapter 29. Of course, not much is known about the next chapter as of the moment, but Kawaki is going to be in a lot of trouble when Koji finds him. Now, who is Koji?
As seen in the previous chapters, Koji seems to be a missing-nin from the Hidden Leaf Village. In fact, he even knows how to use the Rasengan and he summons toads. That made some readers speculate that Koji may be a teammate of the Fourth Hokage, Minato.
“If Minato was alive today (figuratively speaking of course) he would've been in his fifties, almost exactly the same age as Jiraiya when he died in fact. So a teammate of equivalent age, who also learned from Jiraiya and might've been taught the Rasengan by Minato would be the perfect candidate, and as a teammate to Konoha's Yellow Flash, he'd probably of earned enough of a reputation that in order to keep a low profile, things like a mask and fake name would be a must have,” a Reddit user named Hawkeye2701 said in his post.
That is actually a very interesting theory. Well, it is a lot better than the other theories that have come up since he was introduced in “Boruto” Chapter 15 as a member of Jigen’s Kara organization. Hopefully, more of Koji’s past will be revealed in “Boruto” Chapter 29.
For now, readers can check out the scans of “Boruto” Chapter 28 to see Naruto bonding with Kawaki as they look for a new vase to replace the one Kawaki broke. But don’t forget to support the official release. “Boruto” Chapter 29 should come out next month.
