“BoJack Horseman” season 6 will present a new storyline after the protagonist of the favorite animated satire hits the lowest point of his life. This is one of Netflix’s most-watched programs so it is no wonder that fans have been asking the streaming site to release new episodes soon so they can follow what will happen next to the anthropomorphic horse.
Firstly, fans were assured that “BoJack Horseman” season 6 is coming when on its official Twitter page, a photo of a unique bouquet has been uploaded. The image also bore a card with the message: “Congrats on Season 6 Bojack! Don’t eat this all at once” and it was from Netflix. The announcement came just a month after the fifth season concluded.
The team behind the show also wrote, “Let us all forget about the fact that there is going to b a season 6 and focus on this inedible arrangement @netflix sent me just wow!” as a caption to the post.
Now, since “BoJack Horseman” season 6 is confirmed, here are some bits to expect when it arrives. The premiere episode is expected to show BoJack still grieving from the death of his mother. He is also dealing with his own demons as he battles alcohol and drug addiction.
One can say that human-horse is at his lowest when “BoJack Horseman” season 6 premieres. Further, he holds himself accountable for everything bad that transpired in the previous seasons but it is great to know that his friend Diane is there for him when he needed someone.
In any case, season 5 ended with BoJack snapping at Gina, his co-star. He choked her and luckily, he was stopped before things get serious. Diane knew, he needed help and she drove him to a rehabilitation center.
Thus, “BoJack Horseman” season 6 will show how the protagonist is recovering. And as series creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg said via Metro, the viewers will see he horseman starting to sober up in the upcoming installment. Apparently, his time at the rehab is a big help and he is on his way to starting a better life.
"We’ve been inching toward a desire for redemption, for a kind of inner peace," Bob-Waksberg said. “That won't be easy given his crimes but the series has always been at its best when dealing with the thorniest areas of the human/anthropomorphized animal experience.”
Lastly, “BoJack Horseman” season 6 will also delve into Mr. Peanutbutter’s fourth marriage as he is set to marry his partner following his divorce from Diane.
