People almost always expect famous personalities to react to the life milestones of their exes. It was possibly the same case when Miranda Lambert confirmed her recent wedding. Some fans might have been waiting to see how her ex-husband Blake Shelton and his current girlfriend Gwen Stefani would react to the news.
However, a source told HollywoodLife that Shelton and Stefani actually “don’t care” about Lambert’s marriage. “Blake and Gwen really don’t care either way about Miranda’s marriage. It was much easier for Blake to move on than Miranda. It took her a very, very long time to really get over Blake, and it hurt so badly to see Blake move on quickly with Gwen, but she’s very happy now,” the insider said.
The same source explained that not caring about Lambert’s wedding does not necessarily mean Shelton is feeling bitter. The tipster said Stefani’s beau “only wants good things for” Lambert.
Shelton’s ex shocked her fans after confirming she got married to NYPD Officer Brendan McLoughlin. There are reports that Lambert and McLoughlin first met in November 2018 when her group Pistol Annies had a concert in New York.
Meanwhile, fact-checking celeb news outlet Gossip Cop is casting doubt on the credibility of HollywoodLife’s source. The former argues that it would have been impossible for Shelton to comment on Lambert’s wedding since he was busy with his concert tour at the time of his ex’s Instagram announcement.
It is worth noting, however, that a report from PEOPLE also implied that Shelton had nothing to say about Lambert’s wedding. Their own source said, “He put Miranda in his rear view mirror long ago. Miranda brings nothing positive to his life. Their marriage ended and he moved on. Ever since he is grateful every day.” The same insider reiterated that Shelton is head over heels for Stefani and “all he sees are hearts in his eyes every day” while being in a relationship with her.
