The Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert marriage had already ended several years ago, but it would seem that one party is still hung up on the other. A recent song by the Pistol Annies singer seemed to be about the country superstar who is currently dating Gwen Stefani, and it is not flattering. It seems to be an accusation of infidelity.
The song is titled “Got My Name Changed Back,” and it featured some telling lyrics that could cause some Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert trouble. While it does not explicitly refer to the country singer by name, Country 102.5 notes that it could be the truth finally coming out.
"Well I've got me an ex that I adored, but he got along good with a couple road ******,” the song’s lyrics read.
Because of all the rumors surrounding the Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert split, it would be difficult to think of anyone else that such words would be referring to. Then again, it could also be about Evan Felker, who reports said broke Miranda Lambert’s rules that led to their breakup. Without official confirmation from the songstress herself, this might remain a mystery for a long time.
What has not remained vague, however, is how false the reports of a Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert wedding competition were. As Gossip Cop recently noted, one year on and the rumors that the singers were racing each other to the altar have been proven to be complete garbage. Neither seems to be in a hurry to tie the knot at all, and Miranda Lambert is currently enjoying the single life.
As Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert issues go, the most concerning one would have to be the potential feud that “Got My Name Changed Back” could cause. Then again, perhaps the country singer could just let this one pass and be the bigger man.
