Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton fill their social media pages with romantic posts about each other. But even these sweet photos and videos are not enough to stop the spread of breakup rumors.
The tabloid National Enquirer recently ran a story about Stefani and Shelton’s alleged split supposedly because of “fights, lies, & final betrayal” as well as a “pregnancy secret.” However, celeb reports fact-checking outlet Gossip Cop called out the report stating that a representative for the former No Doubt vocalist said the breakup rumor is “not true.”
The same Gossip Cop report shared that a supposed insider for National Enquirer also claimed that Stefani and Shelton are constantly fighting and “barely communicating.” It was also rumored that Shelton felt bad that Stefani did not defend him from Gavin Rossdale. There are other claims that Rossdale does not want Shelton around their kids let alone have fun together, although these have not been verified as well.
Luckily for fans, social media is a wealthy source of proof that what happens in their relationship is quite the opposite of these types of rumors. Stefani’s and Shelton’s Instagram pages have enough evidence that their relationship is doing just fine and not even close to getting broken up.
For one, the country music star's current Instagram profile photo is the cover of Stefani's upcoming Christmas special album. Shelton also posted a photo of her girlfriend to publicly greet her for her birthday last Oct. 3.
Shelton wrote in the caption, “Somehow it feels more like MY birthday everyday.. Happy Birthday @gwenstefani!!! I love you!!!” Meanwhile, Stefani also shared Instagram Story updates showing her boyfriend and her kids bonding during her birthday dinner at a Mexican restaurant.
Stefani and Shelton have been regular subjects of all sorts of tabloid stories. If they are not breaking up, other gossip reports claim they are preparing to get married or got secretly married.
