Fans will get to know more about Asta’s devil in “Black Clover” chapter 268. His parents will also be re-introduced, so everyone can expect to know more about their background as well.
Chapter recap
Previously, in chapter 267 of “Black Clover” titled “The Devil-Binding Ritual,” the devil inside Asta has finally shown itself. This was made possible through the aid of Nacht, the vice-captain of the Black Bulls and the one who took over the squad when Yami was captured by the Dark Triad.
While training Asta in “Black Clover” chapter 267, Nacht guided him to get the most from his devil’s power. Their practice also led to Asta’s devil’s appearance which is a good development in the story.
In the story, when it was released, Asta was caught off-guard when it started attacking him. The devil also kept saying that he will take everything from Asta. he already took his arm in the previous fight with Dante and the devil implied, he is going to take more of him.
While the devil was aggressive, Asta refused to fight back and instead, showed him that he will not fight him. This was because the hero felt that although he may be a devil inhabiting his body, he may not be a bad creature after all. Asta could sense that the devil was only being aggressive but it is not trying to kill him.
These thoughts and gestures from Asta touched the devil’s heart and a woman in the memory of the devil suddenly appeared. Who this person is and what it could mean for Asta will be revealed in “Black Clover” chapter 268.
Spoilers
Yuno is also likely to return in the new chapter as Asta and Nacht continue to train for the battle with the Dark Triad. The main mission is to rescue both Yami and Vangeance.
In any case, it is vital for Asta to get the devil’s power because it is the only way he could defeat the villains. Nacht’s real power is also expected to be revealed as they train.
