“Billions” season 4 is coming and Showtime just released its first video teaser. The series’ premiere date was also revealed so fans are now aware when they can expect the show to air for a new season.
“Billions” season 4 will continue with the plot that happened in season 3’s finale. It will show many surprising twists including the unexpected turn of events regarding the high rollers’ fortunes.
The fourth season has a tagline that says, “We now live in a universe split down the middle. You gotta pick sides.” This is very suitable as based on the teaser, sworn enemies Axe and Chuck appeared to have made up and formed an alliance for their own benefits.
The “Billions” season 4 tagline is likely pointing at the fact that people have to pick sides even if they are your foes because that is the only way to survive in their world where everything is a gamble.
At any rate, while the synopsis and title for “Billions” season 4 episode 1 is not available yet, the show’s general summary reads: “When everyone is out for revenge, no one is safe. This is never more true than in season four of BILLIONS.”
Additionally, “Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Paul Giamatti), former enemies and Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff), the chief counselor to each, have come together to form an uneasy but highly effective alliance, aimed at the eradication of all their rivals.”
The shifting allegiances and betrayals are apparently due to the characters’ ambitions and desire to be the one left standing when the money-fueled war finally ends. Incidentally, Axe and Chuck’s new rivals in “Billions” season 4 consist of powerful figures including Waylon “Jock” Jeffcoat (Clancy Brown), Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon), Grigor Andolov (John Malkovich) and Brian Connerty (Toby Leonard Moore).
As noted on Deadline, the guest stars for “Billions” season 4 are Samantha Mathis, Kevin Pollak, Jade Eshete and Nina Arianda. The show is co-produced by Brian Koppelman and David Levien.
“Billions” season 4 has been confirmed to air on March 17, 2019, on Showtime at 9 p.m. See the promo teaser below:
