One of the favorite dramas on AMC is coming to a close and prior to the official ending, there are some details to check out. “Better Call Saul” season 6 will show Jimmy McGill’s full transformation to his Saul Goodman character as the story is already reaching the “Breaking Bad” timeline.

There are many questions as to how “Better Call Saul” season 6 will end to match the succeeding storyline in its parent drama that starred Aaron Paul. There are also mysteries to solve like Kim Wexler’s existence and her real identity.

Time jump prediction in the finale

Everyone is aware that “BCS” is a prequel of the “Breaking Bad” series. It was created to show the backstory and life of Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), the man who is known as Saul Goodman, a greedy and corrupt lawyer in “BB.” It turned out that he was not a bad guy before and something happened that turned him to who he is in “Breaking Bad.”

Now, Screen Rant suggested that if “Better Call Saul” season 6 needs to make it to the timeline of “BB,” the finale must use a massive time jump. This is because the story of Jimmy is still a little too far from his life as Saul.

Then again, the disadvantage of a time jump is missing many points in the life of the protagonist in the sixth and last season of “BCS.” But it is expected that the gaps would be filled out since this is the finale already.

What to expect in the upcoming installment

One of the biggest questions that “Better Call Saul” season 6 needs to answer is what happened to Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn)? This is the question because she did not appear even once in “Breaking Bad.” She is supposedly Saul’s wife but why was she only in his backstory when he was still Jimmy?

Showrunner Peter Gould knows that the viewers are perplexed and want clarifications before the series ends. He also agreed that Kim’s absence in the parent drama should be explained in the finale of “Better Call Saul.”

"Where is Kim Wexler when Saul Goodman is Saul Goodman dealing with Walt and Jesse?" he asked during his The Wrap interview. "Keep your eye on the bottle stopper that Kim grabbed from her desk drawer after leaving her office for the final time.”

He added, "The title of the penultimate episode this season was 'Bad Choice Road'," and certainly, Kim Wexler seems to be on a bad choice road."

With that said, it is clear that fans will know what exactly happened to Kim and Jimmy. Meanwhile, “Better Call Saul” season 6 may be released in the second half of 2021.
