“Better Call Saul” season 5 is one of the most-awaited TV series that has been delayed. The previous chapter concluded on October 2018, and the follow-up is has been slow to come by.
The filming for “Better Call Saul” season 5 appeared to have just started, and there were many possible reasons why the drama has been delayed. One such cause is the filming of the “Breaking Bad” movie. Since this has the same production team as the spin-off TV series, the executives may not have time to do both, simultaneously.
“Breaking Bad” wraps up the shoot
Then again, last week “Better Call Saul” season 5 lead star Bob Odenkirk personally confirmed that Netflix’s “Breaking Bad” film has finished shooting. The actor shared this detail during his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, and he said this got him excited as well because the team did a good job in keeping things about the movie a secret.
"I've heard so many different things about it, but I am excited about the ‘Breaking Bad’ movie, he said. “I can't wait to see it. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping it a secret.”
A teaser about the upcoming “Better Call Saul”
Aside from divulging a bit of info about the Aaron Pau and Bryan Cranston film, he also teased fans for his own program. The actor said that “Better Call Saul” season 5 will be “explosive” and literally describing it as “on fire.”
"Season five is just everything's on fire, and it’s just burning down around us," the actor shared. "I was worried about the audiences staying with us. We asked people to watch closely and to understand on a deeper level the characters and the plot.”
What to expect in the next season and premiere date
“Better Call Saul” season 5 is expected to show Jimmy McGill’s full transformation to Saul Goodman. He will turn into a lawyer who for the crooks, and this will change his personality as well. Meanwhile, the fifth installment has no release date yet, but as the filming has already begun, it will surely be out in 2020. AMC may announce the exact date as the filming gets closer to its end.
