Houston, Texas, Oct. 02, 2017 -- Houston-based Belmont Village Senior Living reached a construction milestone with the “topping out” of its 28th community located at 107 Bella Montagna Circle in the Lakeway area of Austin. Contractor White Construction Company completed the concrete structure of the three-story building in early September. The milestone was celebrated with an on-site barbeque for subcontractors and special guests. The building is scheduled to open in summer of 2018 and will be the company’s second community in Austin, the first one located at 4310 Bee Cave Rd. in West Lake Hills.
“We’re so pleased to join the Lakeway community. We’ve spent a good deal of time in planning with our neighbors, learning what’s important to them and determining how best to maintain the integrity of the site while providing the high standard of design, amenities and care our residents will expect,” said Patricia Will, Belmont Village founder and CEO “By working together we’ve come up with a beautiful complement to the area that our future residents will be proud to call home, which is always our first development goal.”
The rustic, Mediterranean-style building is approximately 130,000 square-feet and will have 156 private apartments for Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. Expansive common areas and signature amenities will include a professionally managed fitness center for wellness and therapy programs, a full-service salon and a theatre. Residents will enjoy chef-prepared meals, housekeeping and transportation services, enrichment and social activities, award-winning memory programs and support from a well-trained staff, including a licensed nurse on-site 24/7.
“We are grateful to Belmont Village for the opportunity to provide good advice and help them create a top of the line building infrastructure that not only provides a high-end and comfortable space for area seniors but also compliments the neighboring community’s look and feel,” said Neel White, Chairman of the Board, White Construction Company. “This is White Construction Company’s second project for Belmont Village and is a testament to our mission of practicing integrity by embracing the principals of honesty, fairness, and excellence.”
Founded in 1997, Belmont Village Senior Living currently owns and operates 26 communities across the nation and in Mexico City with five new communities under construction. The company is renowned for its distinctive design, innovative programs, high standards for life safety, and reputation for quality.
