FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 12, 2018 -- Avoya Travel®, one of the world’s most innovative travel brands, celebrates January as the best month in company history with over $50 million in booked sales. Avoya’s 2018 growth is a result of the company’s latest innovative programs and strategies that are successfully reaching and connecting more travelers with Independent Agencies in the Avoya Travel Network™ to plan more vacations than ever before.
Avoya’s January 2018 sales represent over a 25 percent year-over-year increase over January 2017, which was previously Avoya’s best month ever. The booking increases continued to show strong growth in the ongoing trend of customers booking further out, with an increase in 20 percent for 2018 departures and over 50 percent for 2019 departures. In addition, January sales from Independent Agencies newly affiliated with the Avoya Network have doubled compared to last year.
Avoya is poised to continue record sales through 2018 due to the company’s ongoing investment in technology, marketing, and support for Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network.
“While Avoya Travel has continued to break year-over-year sales records, January 2018 was an extraordinary new milestone for us,” said Jeff Anderson, Executive Vice President of Avoya Travel. “Our sales increases indicate that the platform we’ve implemented is helping more Independent Agencies in the Avoya Travel Network reach new levels of success for their businesses and we are optimistic that this momentum will continue through 2018 and beyond.”
