The war to save humanity commenced, and as expected the combined forces of Paradis and Marley were practically no match for the power that Ymir holds. However, eagle-eyed manga readers may have found a way Armin could give his friends a chance to fight back in “Attack on Titan” chapter 136.
‘Attack on Titan’ chapter 136 spoilers, plot predictions: Is Armin the next to die?
To recap, Armin was captured by one of the Titan shifters Ymir summoned. The way he was taken may have also prevented him from activating his Colossal Titan, which would have given them a better chance at the start of the war. However, his previous interaction with Annie may have already given their group one way to gain back the momentum.
Fans on Reddit noticed some interesting clues in previous chapters that could be telling how events in “Attack on Titan” chapter 136, especially involving Armin, could turn out. Several panels in chapters 131, 132, and 133 featured a clear look on Annie’s hands and none of them showed that she was wearing her ring that lets her hurt herself so he could transform into the Female Titan.
Since Annie talked to Armin in chapter 132 before the latter flew with the rest of the Survey Corps and Marleyan Warriors, fans suggest that could have been the moment when Annie gave Armin his ring. In this case, even if Ymir had Armin’s mouth restrained, he could still have a way to activate his Colossal Titan.
While it is a very plausible outcome, considering how the series is filled with plot twists and meaningful flashbacks, fans should still remember it is mere speculation at this point. As for “Attack on Titan” chapter 136, there are other things that need to be addressed such as the whereabouts of Eren and why he chose to let Ymir be on the frontlines at the beginning of the war. There is also Zeke’s condition and whether or not he yielded and agreed to Eren’s worldwide genocide plan.
‘Attack on Titan’ chapter 136 release date: When will the manga end
The highly popular manga series created by Hajime Isayama is now in its final arc, but it has not been announced yet when exactly it is going to end. There are reports, however, that volume 34 is going to be its final installment. If that is accurate, that means fans will only have three more chapters to anticipate, including “Attack on Titan” chapter 136.
