Some images from “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116 have been leaked recently and it would seem that things are about to get really heated in the upcoming events. In fact, the final battle might just start in the upcoming chapter, with all players entering the field. Marley finally launches an attack, Reiner and Eren face off again, and Zeke is about to return. The only question now is how Levi will join this fight and many theories point to him becoming a titan to regenerate.
As Blasting News points out, there are some major spoilers currently circling social media with screenshots of panels in “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116 spreading. Although the texts in the images are in their raw state, the drawings themselves provide plenty of clues as to what is happening. To start with, it would seem that an airship will appear over the city just as Eren is being held at gunpoint.
Considering that he is a titan, it’s safe to assume that the protagonist who became an antagonist isn’t really that threatened. On the one the hand, there is also the matter of him fighting against both the Armored and the Cart titans, he might be at a disadvantage. There is even the question of Armin and who he will side with considering what Eren did to him. “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116 should answer these questions.
As for Levi, the previous chapter made it clear that he suffered major injuries. It would take a miracle for him to heal fast enough to join the fray. Perhaps Hange has managed to create or smuggle a serum that could turn Levi into a titan. This might even result in him becoming more powerful than any giant in existence. Fans will have to wait for “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116 to come out on April 9 to find out.
