The Atlanta Hawks have engaged the services of Excel Sports Management agency to find them a new jersey patch partner from next season.
The NBA team signed up digital healthcare brand Sharecare in 2017 for a reportedly ‘mid-range’ value of between US$2.5 million and US$10 million a year.
The agreement with Sharecare was recently extended for the upcoming 2022/23 season but is set to expire next year. Sharecare is due to remain a team sponsor of the Hawks.
According to Excel, the Hawks’ next patch sponsor can expect a 70 percent increase in brand sentiment.
Excel helped negotiate the recent jersey patch partnership between the Boston Bruins of the NHL and cybersecurity firm Rapid7 and is currently working with the Los Angeles Angels of the MLB to find a jersey patch sponsor.
