Dallas, TX, Aug. 29, 2017 -- Associa, the industry’s largest community management company, has banded together to organize a huge supply drive for families evacuating to Dallas-based shelters.
The supply drive is being held at Associa’s home office through Wednesday, August 30th, where Associa Cares volunteers will be collecting everything from clothes, baby supplies and toiletries to pet supplies and gas cards. Associa Cares will deliver the items to evacuation shelters and the SPCA this week. Associa Cares has also allocated a portion of the relief funds for additional supplies on top of items that employees have generously donated.
“It is a humbling experience to witness such generosity and compassion during this tragic time,” stated Andrew Fortin, Associa Cares president. “Associa Cares, which is greatly supported and funded by our employees, has been a tremendous tool to help provide supplies and funds to communities and families affected by the hurricane. We will continue to collect donations and do all we can to help.”
