Dallas, TX, Aug. 31, 2017 -- Associa, the industry’s largest community management company, deployed their Associa OnCall team and LHR Construction & Restoration crew to southeast Texas to begin cleanup and rebuilding efforts.
The Associa OnCall team provides repairs, maintenance and general damage assessment in the event of a storm or emergency. LHR Construction & Restoration, Associa’s expert emergency response team, is available to assess damage, help residents understand the claims process, and manage and execute the construction and restoration of affected properties.
The OnCall team, comprised of members from Associa Hill Country-San Antonio, and LHR have been on the ground in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas to provide support to communities that have felt the effects of Hurricane Harvey and the significant damages left in its wake. The crews are working to remove large debris items such as fallen trees and fences as well as assess leaks and water damage. They are also working with American Electric Power (AEP) to address any electrical threats, damaged wires or destroyed meters.
“Having our teams at the locations to start the rebuilding process is crucial, not only for our residents but for the morale of the communities,” stated Nigel Parfitt, Associa director of field services, central region. “Our crews were in place and ready to begin cleanup 72 hours after the hurricane hit, allowing our residents to see progress and hope. We will continue to support our communities and focus on the safety of our residents.”
The OnCall and LHR teams will expand their cleanup and rebuilding efforts throughout affected communities as the storm and weather conditions permit.
