Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson called it quits just after months of dating and being engaged. The couple was very open about their whirlwind romance and was often spotted having PDAs. They declared their overwhelming love for each other in interviews but still, it all ended in a separation.
Apparently, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson got together very quickly. They got engaged quickly but also ended their relationship quickly. So, what happened to them?
The couple recently started living together after the “No Tears Left to Cry” bought a swanky $16 million apartment in New York. As per TMZ, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson broke up last weekend after “acknowledging that it simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off.”
The magazine added that although the two called it quits, they still have love left for each other but not romantically anymore. After the split, TMZ learned that the comedian continued to appear on “Saturday Night Live” and even presented sketches where he mentioned his now ex-fiancee.
Ariana Grande wore a $100,000 diamond engagement ring and it is not clear what she plans to do with it now. in any case, it can be noted that the pair started to hit rough patches after Grande’s ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, died from an overdose last month. Many fans blamed the singer for what happened to the rapper and she asked everyone to give her some space for she was going through a difficult time.
In another report, it was said that Mac Miller’s death made Ariana Grande realize something about her whirlwind romance with Pete Davidson and this report could be suggesting that this was one of the reasons for the breakup.
“In the aftermath of Mac's death, our sources say Ariana realized a couple of things -- she couldn't be fully invested in her relationship with Pete, and she had rushed into a looming marriage way too fast by getting engaged,” The Daily Mail quoted the source as saying. “She feels she did everything she could to get him sober, but it left her an emotional wreck.”
