Angelina Jolie, Justin Theroux 2018: Did Brad Pitt's, Jennifer Aniston’s Former Partners Have ‘Hours-Long’ Conversation?

Recently there have been reports insisting that Angelina Jolie and Justin Theroux have more things in common than being exes of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Jolie and Theroux were rumored to be building their own romantic relationship.

Earlier this month, Life & Style magazine published a story saying that Jolie and Theroux are becoming much closer to each other. The report had a source claiming that the actors have not only been communicating but have also gone out together on several occasions.

“Word is they’ve quietly gone out a bunch of times since late summer, and the out-of-left-field relationship is sure to shock everyone, especially Jen,” the insider alleged regarding Jolie and Theroux. “Pals think they’re really starting to develop feelings for each other.”

The same report further claimed that it was Angelina Jolie who made the first move. She purportedly invited Justin Theroux to meet at a restaurant in New York City last August to discuss a movie project. “The reality is that they’re really into each other,” said the same source. “They can talk for hours on end.”

However, fact-checking media outlet Gossip Cop dragged the said report and called it “nothing more than fiction.” The publication also got in touch with Theroux’s representative, who denied that Jennifer Aniston’s estranged husband is close to Jolie.

As for Jolie, the actress seemed to be busy in between movie projects and taking care of her six children with Brad Pitt. Earlier this year, PEOPLE reported that the “Maleficent” star “is absolutely not seeing anyone and will not be.” With a reputable publication reporting that Jolie “has no interest in dating at all,” the possibility that she is seeing Theroux is much slimmer.

Aside from looking after her children, Angelina Jolie is also working on her ongoing divorce from Pitt, which has been going on for two years now. But The Blast recently reported that the actress sent over her financial information to Pitt’s camp — a sign that a settlement seems to be attainable now more than ever.

Meanwhile, Jolie also traveled to South Korea last week as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee special envoy. In between her humanitarian engagements, the rumored close friend of Justin Theroux made time to accompany her 17-year-old son, Maddox, in a visit to a university in Seoul.
