‘America’s Next Top Model’ cycle 23’s episode 13, titled “Brand Like A Boss,” will follow the top four contestants as they compete in a Rimmel London commercial shoot.
The synopsis for “Brand Like A Boss” posted on TV Guide reads, “The final four learn what it takes to be a brand ambassador for Rimmel. The models are tasked with shooting a commercial featuring Rimmel's new line of waterproof makeup, during which they must race through the streets of London.”
A sneak peak video posted on VH1’s website shows judges Drew Elliott and Rita Ora explaining the models’ task for a fashion shoot for Rimmel London’s commercial. The final four contestants are seen walking into the studio as Elliott greets them with enthusiasm.
Elliott explains, “We’re down to the final four! We’re almost there… As you guys know, the winner of America’s Next Top Model will be featured in a Rimmel London commercial. Well, we’re shooting that commercial today.”
The girls are obviously nervous and excited as Elliott continues to explain that they will be putting focus and working with the company’s “Scandaleyes” waterproof mascara and khol eye liner for the makeup commercial shoot. He adds that the products will have to be showcased in actual rain.
He introduces the set that is made to look like London and the girls are mesmerized by water flowing down from what look to be a series of sprinklers mounted on the ceiling. It seems that the girls will be in for an interesting time as they showcase their skills with water all around them.
India, Courtney, Cory Anne, and Tatiana are left to fight it out for the top spot after Cody’s elimination in the previous episode. According to Buddy TV, Cody expressed her thoughts on being eliminated and even mentioned that her identical twin sister’s return may have caused her exit from the reality television competition.
When Elliott brought up Cody’s poor performance on Tash’s return, Cody replied, "From the inside looking out I didn't see that… But when I kind of just stepped into your guys' shoes and I looked at it I was like, 'Wow! Maybe you're right. There's probably something there.'"
She went on to explain that her sister’s return brought out personal issues between them. She said, "First time I was a little bit sad… The second time around I was angry because we were kind of able to pinpoint our issues and try to solve them a little bit. I felt like I wanted more time."
Cody added, "I feel like being identical twins, we are constantly compared. I felt like the fact that people felt we should be the same puts in our minds that we should be the same… It's a battle we have, like 'Should I be different? Is it OK for me to be different?'" She revealed that Tash’s exit helped her gain some confidence.
‘America’s Next Top Model’ cycle 23’s episode 13, titled “Brand Like A Boss,” is scheduled to air on VH1 on March 1, 2017. It will be followed by the season finale, titled “The Final Countdown,” scheduled to be released on March 8.
