‘American Crime’ season 3’s episode 7 will follow Kimara as she extends assistance to Dustin after the fatal fight at the Webcam house, which led to Shae’s demise. Meanwhile, Nicholas and Clair’s turbulent marriage continues to unfold.
The synopsis for "Season Three: Episode Seven" posted on TV Guide reads, “Dustin's life is in danger following a fatal altercation at the Webcam house, so he reaches out for help from Kimara (Regina King), who is struggling with a difficult moral dilemma and decides to take time off from work at the shelter.
Meanwhile, Nicholas (Timothy Hutton) and Clair's (Lili Taylor) marriage continues to unravel, prompting Gabrielle (Mickaëlle X. Bizet) to act impulsively out of self-preservation; and Jeanette (Felicity Huffman) is alarmed by Raelyn's (Janel Moloney) overreaction to a random drug test request.”
The upcoming episode will follow Kimara as she attempts to help Dustin after he reaches out to her for assistance following a fatal fight the Webcam house despite personal struggles of her own. Dustin was prompted to ask Kimara’s help after he realized that his own life was at risk.
Kimara decided to take some time off from work at the shelter in order to set things right in her life. She has been struggling with the burden of a difficult moral decision, which may have complicated consequences.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the previous episode followed Kimara’s continuing battle against sex-trafficking as she was determined to rescue victims of prostitution. Tragedy befell Shae (Ana Mulvoy-Ten) following her tenure an online sex house.
Meanwhile, Nicholas and Clair’s turbulent marriage continues to unravel. Gabrielle will be forced to make an impulsive move as she fears for the safety of her own life. Jeanette, on the other hand, will become alarmed when her sister Raelyn shows signs of anxiety and unrest when requested for a random drug test.
Shae got into a heated confrontation with a more successful work mate when she realized that she wasn’t making enough money to provide for herself as well as her unborn child. Her fellow sex worker, Tracy, successfully managed to kill her off by plunging a knife on the back of her neck despite Dustin’s efforts to try and save her life.
Dustin mistakenly pulled out the knife from the stab wound, which caused heavy bleeding on Shae’s end. Everett, concerned for his business, then tasked Dustin to dispose of Shae’s body.
‘American Crime’ season 3’s episode 7 is scheduled to air on ABC on April 23, 2017. It was directed by John Krokidas and written by Kirk A. Moore. It will be followed by episode 8, directed by Jessica Yu and scheduled to be released on April 30.
