Amal Clooney and George Clooney are once again hit with rumors about their marriage. Recently, they are reportedly going through a million dollar-worth of divorce. But the story was immediately dismissed by official sources.
The report first came from Radar Online after their supposed insiders claimed that Amal and George are opting for divorce with $520 million worth of fortune involved. The sources further claimed that Amal left their house in England. The international human rights lawyer reportedly “fled” with their twins, Alexander and Ella, to their family home in Italy.
Amal’s rumored departure was purportedly followed by angry texts from George demanding that she let him see their children. “He wanted them to enjoy the new property together, but after an explosive argument she ran off there with Alexander and Ella. She’s told him if he comes, he’ll have to stay in the guest house,” the same sources said.
However, HollywoodLife immediately debunked the divorce rumors after the actor’s camp said, “The story is made up.” Gossip Cop was also told by the actor’s rep that the rumors of George and Amal’s million dollar divorce are “complete nonsense.”
HollywoodLife added that it is quite impossible for Amal and George’s marriage to be on the rocks considering how happy they looked together in recent public sightings. The actor was in attendance at the 23rd Annual United Nations Correspondents Associations Awards last month to support his wife.
Last November, George placed his Harley Davidson motorcycle up for bidding to support the Homes for Our Troops Veterans Day Celebrity Auction. In selling the vehicle, the actor dished that Amal is one of the reasons he decided to let go of it. “Ever since George Clooney’s motorcycle accident, his wife Amal has told him he’s off two wheels for good. George just bought a brand new dresser Harley with only 25 MILES ON THE ODOMETER!— all yours if you win the bidding,” the actor wrote.
