Many fans are thrilled about the upcoming premiere of “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2. From “Squid Game,” “Hellbound,” “Kill Boksoon,” and “Okja” to “Black Knight” and “All of Us Are Dead,” Netflix's K-drama genre has delivered a slew of breakout hits with inventive storytelling and superb cast performances.
Netflix was initially reported to be creating “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 on March 21, 2022, which is excellent news for K-drama lovers who are eager to know how this coming-of-age undead apocalyptic thriller will proceed. On June 6, 2022, the American streaming behemoth officially revived the South Korean horror series.
“All of Us are Dead” is without a doubt one of Netflix's biggest hits in early 2022, dominating the streaming giant's charts globally. While fans wait for further information, here's everything we know so far about the impending “All of Us are Dead” Season 2.
‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season 2 Release Date
Netflix has not yet confirmed an official release date for “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2, but we have a guess. South Korean content, unlike other big Hollywood productions, is untouched by ongoing writers' and performers' guild strikes.
According to Park Ji-hu's March 2023 interview with Teen Vogue, filming for “All of Us are Dead” Season 2 has not yet begun. At the time of writing, additional episodes are set to premiere in early 2024.
‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season 2 Cast
Though many characters were killed in the zombie outbreak in Season 1, fans may expect to see Cho Yi Hyun as Nam Ra, Park Ji Hu as On Jo, and Im Jae Hyuk as Dae Su return in “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2. Other actors likely to appear in the upcoming sequel include Lee Eun Saem as Mi Jin, Bo Yoon as Hyo Ryung, Ha Seung Ri as Ha Ri, and Park Solomon as Su Hyeok.
‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season 2 Plot
Netflix has not yet provided official narrative specifics for “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2, but we can expect plenty more zombies. Season 1 ended with the aftermath of the Hyosan disaster, per Digital Spy. Cheong-san and Gwi-nam, it appears, died in the fire, but the remaining students made it to the quarantine camp.
Nam-ra escapes the explosion as a hambie, a half-human, half-zombie hybrid with normal intelligence but improved strength, vision, and agility. She bids her pals goodnight after sneaking into the school building and walks into the abandoned city, knowing that the military would most certainly kill her. Nam-ra's fate is expected to be addressed in the upcoming “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2.
There's also a clue that the infection has spread to Japan, which “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 may investigate, whether it's just a hint or the entire tale gets shifted overseas. Given that “All of Us Are Dead” is a South Korean production, the latter option is doubtful.
Stay tuned for more “All of Us Are Dead” Season 2 spoilers, news and updates!
