The award recognizes businesses committed to inclusion at all levels of the organization that have created a workplace with policies that drive opportunity for all, regardless of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, age, veteran status, ancestry, or national or ethnic origin.
Judges for the award cited Aeris for its innovative diversity actions, including “The Women of Aeris,” a program that helps women advance their careers. Activities include lectures about techniques that help women to succeed, as well as frequent peer-to-peer meetings. The program also uses advanced collaborative tools and ideas to meet the challenges for women working in a fast-paced environment with global operations. The result has been an increased talent pool and a more diverse workplace.
The complete list of Tech Diversity Award winners for 2017 now are posted on the Tech Culture blog on TMCnet. Winners also will be featured on TMCnet.
