‘2 Broke Girls’ season 6’s episode 8, entitled “And the Duck Stamp”, will feature Kat and Caroline’s booming business after hiring a popular bartender to take over bar duties.
The synopsis for “And the Duck Stamp” posted on Broadway World stated, “Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline’s (Beth Behrs) dessert bar business booms when they hire Clint (Michael Charles Roman), a popular bartender, but the girls need to intervene when Han (Matthew Moy) becomes addicted to the mixologist’s potent cocoa powder in his signature cacao drink. Also, Han enters a duck stamp-drawing contest, and glamour eludes Sophie (Jennifer Coolidge) as she adjusts to being a mom.”
In the preceding episode, entitled “And the Sophie Doll”, Kat and Caroline had trouble mixing up the drinks customers ordered. They eventually head back to school for the sake of their dessert bar business, according to Hidden Remote.
In one scene, Kat even allowed a customer to step inside the bar to mix his own “Moscow Mule.” When Caroline confronted Kat about having a client make his own drink, another customer proved Kat’s point when Caroline didn’t know the recipe to the other drink he wanted.
The two then decided to hire an actual bartender, who knows how to make real drinks despite not having enough money to employ one. Caroline then suggested that they both attend bartending school to gain more experience for their business. When Kat hesitated, Caroline admitted that she already signed them up.
The two proceeded to attend the class taught by Mr. Gil Bronskie, a former child actor living with his mom. Although Caroline was initially eager to impress, it was Kat who was enjoying her time in school. When Kat got infected with Han’s chicken pox, Caroline had no choice but to take the teacher’s examination alone.
Meanwhile, Kat stayed home with Han and helped Caroline cheat by coaching ingredients through the use of Sophie’s lookalike doll-baby monitor hybrid. However, Mr. Bronskie caught Caroline and kicked her out of class.
It seems that despite their failure in bartending school, Kat and Caroline will get their business back on track when they hire a popular bartender to take over the bar duties. In the promo, the two are ecstatic to learn that business is booming. Caroline even expresses her enthusiasm over finally leaving their old waitressing jobs.
‘2 Broke Girls’ season 6’s episode 8, entitled “And the Duck Stamp”, is scheduled to air on CBS on November 21, 2016.
