Asian markets start a new week on the positive note, gold stable below $1,270

All the Asian indices were trading marginally higher on the start of a new week. On the other side, gold remains well supported below $1,270 mark and silver was trading around $17.48 levels. In the early hours of Asia, Japan released manufacturing PMI data with positive numbers at 51.7 m/m vs 50.4 m/m previous release.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.48 percent higher at 2,042.36 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.16 percent higher at 17,211.50 points.

China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,332.51 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,092.05 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.30 percent higher at 23,443.26 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.61 percent lower at 5,397.10 points.

Taiwan stocks open up 0.3 pct at 9,333.94 points.
