HOUSTON, Dec. 02, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Z-Terra, a rapidly growing provider of software and services solutions to the upstream oil and gas industry, has announced Paul Taylor as its new Vice President Business Development for Europe, Africa and Middle East. Paul is a seasoned executive with more than 30 years in the geophysical industry with management, operations and sales and business development experience. He will be responsible for developing business across Europe, Africa and Middle East business for Z-Terra, and will be based in London.

"He has extensive experience in Europe, Africa and Middle East with a particular knowledge of the seismic activities and customer base across Europe and Africa which will allow us to continue to grow our business across this important region."
Paul joins Z-Terra after working for WesternGeco (a Schlumberger company). He has more than 30 years of technology and operations experience in the seismic industry. His global experience and international contacts have been built over many years in senior positions for Schlumberger, the world leading Oilfield service Company, encompassing seismic imaging, seismic acquisition and multi-client services.
He served as Region Sales Manager for WesternGeco responsible for all seismic activities across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. His previous roles included Global Account Manager for major international oil and gas companies, Product Champion responsible for new technology commercialization and Region Processing Centre Manager. Paul joined Geco in 1982 as a processing geophysicist but spent much of his first year alternating between processing centers and land crews starting the trend of his career of working in all divisions of the seismic business.
