Weaker SEK to boost Sweden Inflation?

Bank of Sweden

Just like Norges Bank, the Riksbank should be content, if for other reasons.

It is hoping that a weaker krona might boost inflation. Following last week's somewhat higher-than-expected inflation figures for July, the SEK had temporarily appreciated, with EUR-SEK touching the 9.40 support.

"By now, though, EUR-SEK has returned to a level close to 9.50. Swedish unemployment data for July might push EUR-SEK a bit further, but for now 9.50 proves a good resistance in EUR-SEK", says Commerzbank.
